Youth Services

Individuals who are between ages 14 to 21 are eligible for services. Under the WIA, youth are classified into 2 categories:

Out of School Youth

  1. Orientation Services
  2. Assessment/Testing
  3. Career Guidance and Planning
  4. Occupational Skills Training
  5. One the Job Training
  6. Job Search & Placement Services
  7. Supportive Services

In School Youth

  1. Summer Youth Employment opportunities linked to academic/occupational learning
  2. Career Guidance

Note: all youth must meet WIA income criteria and fall within one or more categories under WIA.
