On the Job Training (OJT) can be contracted with an employer. Once an OJT is executed the employer can be reimbursed 50% of an employee’s salary from the JCETP up to 500 hours. In order for an employer to be reimbursed from an OJT the following criteria must be met:

Individual must be trained on skills specific to the company’s mission.

Document employee progress every 30 days in order to receive 50% reimbursement.

Upon completion of the OJT, the employer should hire the employee full-time after a positive preliminary OJT was documented.
