Executive Director's Message

Dear Employers:

Welcome to Jersey City Employment & Training Program (JCETP)! We are excited about serving you and we hope that you will spend time acquainting yourself with the many services we offer.

For our customers in need of job assistance, JCETP is your one-stop shop for skills training, employment referrals and supportive services (housing referrals, substance abuse assistance and referrals for those customers who may be physically or mentally challenged). Our staff is specially trained to handle the needs of potential employees ranging from 14 years of age to seniors re-entering the job market.

For our business customers that have staffing needs, we provide numerous services that match qualified Jersey City residents with you and your business. We want to service everyone from the corporate business entity to the small "mom and pop" stores.

Our services include:

1. Recruitment, out reach and pre-screening of applicants
2. Applicant Testing/Assessment
3. Access to detailed Labor Market, Industry, Occupational Demand & Job Growth
4. Statistical Data
5. In-house job/recruitment fairs
6. Employer access to JCETP offices for on-site interviews and use of copier, fax and phone equipment
